Forgive me for taking a moment to impose a little musical O-Susume upon you, my digital darlings. Right now i am listening to the eponymous debut of a little known art rock band from the late 60s and 70s named Barclay James Harvest. In a word, it is one of the most beautiful, amazing, perfect, and evocative albums this reviewer has ever had the honor of listening to. Not only are there no mediocre tracks on the album, there aren't even any "good" tracks. Every single one of the 7 compositions is a stunning gem of folky art rock. *At a loss for fitting words.* How, how could something like this not garner an immortal place in the annals of great rock albums??? It simply proves that the music industry was, and certainly still is distorted beyond any resemblance of fairness. Oh well. Go out and pick it up. But don't take my word for it; read for yourself! *fade in theme music*
