I saw a blacksmith today [ed note: yesterday]. And not one of those museum pieces that you see in re-enactment villages. He was just in his shop, next to the street. Scott told me he works on farm tools. And i went to the castle. Kumamoto castle is one of the "three most "grand" castles in japan" or so they tell me. Yesterday, [errata: ototoi] i went to a Japanese Elementary school. Japanese kids are inherently 3x as cute as american kids. The same goes for japanese grandmas. Scott lives in a town called Uto, which translates roughly as Cosmic Dirt. i am not kidding. I need to get going and do something interesting today; Motainai, ne? Peace Out.
