The Return To Japan
Ok, so, in case you were wondering about how my trip was, i will lay it out for ya. The flight from e-ville was fine. The plane was really tiny, but i didn't have anyone sitting next to me so i relaxed and read. Ironically, I ate lunch in the japanese restaurant in Detroit (way too expensive, but i figured you only live once right?) and then sat around reading. I got on the plane and found i had a lady in the aisle seat, unlike the internet check-in, which said i had 3 seats to myself. She was a pleasant Philipino. Then the plane couldn't take off, due to high winds. After driving around the runways too much, The pilots realized they didn't have the "necessary minimum amount of fuel" which probably means that they had enough to get there, but not with out a safe enough margin. Then the mechanics found something on the plane they needed to fix. But whatever, three hours later, we finally got in the air. The inflight movies were Flicka (looked horrible, so i didn't even put on my headphones), Gridiron Gang (likewise), and Employee of the Month (ditto), so i mostly read. I finished Neuromancer (thanks mom), and got a good start on don quixote. So i got to Nagoya around 9:20-30 something and got through customs at about 9:45. Fortunately, i caught the last bus to Fujigaoka. Whew!! However, in the mood for an adventure (when will i learn?), i got off one stop before i had planned to, in the middle of nowhere, with no taxis no nothing. I planned to walk. and walk i did. and walk. and walk. In the dark, on a road that followed next to the express way. I was in no fear of crime, but i wondered if someone would send the cops after me! but all turned out well. Eventually i crawled up to the door of the IHouse. Success! then i took a shower (i was so sweaty from lugging all my luggage.) emailed and went to sleep. The End.
